Technical Business Development Manager

We upgrade existing systems and deliver process skids to integrate into the existing process area when old equipment cannot be retrofitted, supporting future operations. Our extensive experience spans onshore to offshore processing, fixed platforms to FPSOs, heavy oil to condensate treatment, and upstream to refinery applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a strategy for the Norwegian brownfield market in dialogue with management, ensuring competitive execution models.
- Prospect and develop brownfield opportunities from lead to proposal stage and handover to tender/project, managing the sales pipeline to ensure accurate revenue forecasting.
- Maximize and achieve revenue potential on existing and new accounts, delivering on sales targets.
- Communicate sales activities internally according to the sales plan, including customer visits, calls, lead follow-ups, and quotation generation.
- Understand the competitive landscape in the Norwegian brownfield market and maintain an overview of competitors.
- Lead strategy meetings and support decision-making processes. Manage Terms & Conditions negotiations with the support of contract and legal teams.
- Participate in and integrate with the global NOV Brownfield team to expand our footprint, improve performance, enhance safety, and increase digital offerings.
- Utilize and expand your established industry network to develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships.
- Foster and maintain a robust network of industry contacts, staying informed about market trends and emerging opportunities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, E&I, Process, or Automation Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry in the North Sea region.
- Notable experience in companies manufacturing or using similar equipment on a day-to-day basis.
- Established network within the oil and gas industry and the ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Understanding of legal terms and competencies.
- Professional writing skills in English.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of the competitive landscape in the oil and gas sector. Troubleshooting experience in oil and gas production sites.
