We are on behalf of our client looking for a Actuated Valve PRE (Instrument Engineer) for a long term project in Trondheim, Norway.


Responsibilities and tasks:

• Provide technical input for package strategies - and compile technical requisitions and specifications for inquiries and purchase orders
• Execute technical pre-order activities
• Oversee and coordinate technical procurement tasks
• Manage and approve supplier documents and drawings
• Plan, execute, and coordinate technical follow-up activities
• Review and assure quality of supplier documentation
• Update and provide input to engineering databases
• Collaborate with customer technical specialists
• Support site work and respond to technical queries
• Participate in performance tests and inspections at supplier facilities

Qualifications and personal attributes:

• Bachelor, Master or other relevant education
• Senior engineer with substantial offshore project experience, ready to step directly into the role and perform tasks from day one.
• Specific expertise with actuated valves
• Knowledge of On/Off (EV, XV, HV, HIPPS), Control (PV, LV), Choke, and PSV valves, particularly with Equinor frame agreement vendors
• Familiarity with design rules, regulations, and standards, including NORSOK
• Proven ability to lead procurement for discipline or multi-discipline packages
• Proficiency in MIPS and TIME systems
• Strong communication skills, proactive, team-oriented, and able to take ownership of tasks
• Available for work in Norway!
• Good communicative skills in English and team player
• Valid work permit in Norway (or being located within the EU)!
