The Chef de Cuisine specializing in Italian Cuisine will oversee the culinary operations of the Italian restaurant kitchen. This role requires a passion for Italian cuisine, creativity in menu development, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.

Create, innovate, and execute an authentic Italian fine dining menu that showcases premium ingredients and techniques. Incorporate traditional dishes alongside modern interpretations, catering to our guests.
Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency are maintained at all times, with attention to detail in flavor, texture, and plating.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of culinary professionals, promoting teamwork, training, and career development. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Manage food costs by controlling waste, sourcing ingredients efficiently, and implementing portion controls. Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate ordering.
Ensure the kitchen adheres to local health regulations and hygiene standards, implementing food safety best practices and maintaining proper sanitation.
Interact with guests when necessary to understand their preferences and feedback. Work with the service team to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
Stay updated on global culinary trends, incorporating new ideas and techniques into the menu while maintaining the authenticity of Italian cuisine.
Work closely with the Executive Chef and F&B team to develop special events, themed dinners, and exclusive culinary experiences that align with the restaurant’s identity.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Senior Sous Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant, with a strong focus on Italian cuisine.
Leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team.
Ability to work on computers for Food Costing, Receipe costing.
