Summary

The Animator will be responsible for creating fun, engaging, and memorable experiences for guests through a variety of activities and entertainment programs. This role includes designing and executing programs for both children and adults, ensuring that all activities are interactive, enjoyable, and in line with the resort's luxury brand standards. The Animator will also ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by maintaining a vibrant atmosphere and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Organize and lead recreational activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts, dance, and other interactive programs for guests of all ages.
Develop creative entertainment schedules and events, including themed nights, cultural events, and holiday celebrations.
Host and facilitate activities, ensuring they are safe, inclusive, and appropriate for guests.
Engage guests in daily recreational activities, maintaining a lively and energetic environment.
Tailor activities to various age groups, ensuring a range of entertainment options for children, teens, and adults.
Work closely with the Recreation team to ensure the smooth execution of programs and events.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests feel welcome, entertained, and valued.
Assist in promoting activities and events across the resort through various communication channels.
Maintain all equipment and facilities used during activities, ensuring they are clean and safe.
Monitor guest participation and gather feedback to continuously improve the activities and entertainment offerings.
Foster a warm and friendly atmosphere that aligns with Shangri-La’s service standards.
Stay up to date on entertainment trends, integrating new ideas and innovations into the program.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an animation, recreation, or entertainment role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
Energetic, creative, and outgoing personality with the ability to engage and entertain guests.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with guests of all ages.
Experience in organizing and leading a variety of recreational activities, including sports, games, and arts and crafts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
