Hiring for the reputed company in Oman for the role of Senior Construction Manager and the role will be responsible for overseeing the construction activities of the project and ensuring that all work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Senior Construction Manager will report to the Construction Director and work closely with the Project Director, Commercial Director, and other key project stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure that all construction work is executed safely, and that all workers and subcontractors adhere to relevant health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained for construction work, and manage relationships with local authorities and other regulatory bodies as required.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure that all work is completed to the required quality standards and within budget.
• Manage the day-to-day construction activities of the project, ensuring that work is executed in accordance with the project schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Monitor construction progress, identify and resolve any issues or delays, and report on project status to the Construction Director and other key stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team, and ensure that all team members are properly trained and equipped to carry out their roles.
• Review and approve construction plans, drawings, and specifications, and coordinate with the design team to resolve any issues or discrepancies.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects.

Skills & Person Specification:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Experience with construction safety regulations and procedures, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Fluent in English, Turkish/Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and equipment, and experience with a variety of construction delivery methods.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a large team of construction professionals.
