Accounts Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Officer to join our finance team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and accounting records.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process and maintain records of payments, receipts, and financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Handle petty cash management and reimbursement processes.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors as required.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Tally, or similar).
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with ERP systems will be a plus.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance procedures.
