We are looking to add a Billing Associate/Insurance Verification Specialist to our client's team that will contribute to the mission along with embodying the same values as us. Along with patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction is at the top of our list of priorities.
Location: Pakistan (Remote)
Timing: 8am -5pm CST


Role and Responsibilities:

• Verify patient benefits through Availability, insurance portals, and calls. Add notes in the patient's appointment tab for other team member's review.
• Fill out a new patient verification form for every new patient and upload in patient's document.
• Review patient plan to calculate an accurate patient's liability.
• Work on add-on appointments for two hours every day, coordinate your team lead for your time slot.
• Create a task for patient collection staff for past due balance.
• Call/text/email patient for any missing information/insurance/other details and document everything in e CW through tele encounter.
• Take prior authorization for services not covered under the patient's plan and document everything through tele encounter.
• Check the dont send a statement box for all Medicaid patients to comply with instructions.
• Report error, any new plan, provider network issue immediately to supervisor.
• Create a tele encounter for OON and send this to the patient service team.
• Send tele encounter to practice manager for any missing intake.
• Obtain prior authorization for psych testing, upload authorization in patient's document, and add authorization number in billing alert.
• Coordinate with other team members to resolve verification issues and improve productivity.
• Attend weekly/bi-weekly meetings with the billing manager.
• Maintain a healthy environment and follow office etiquette.
