CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER (CTO) | LAHORE
The Company:
Zarea is the Pakistan’s largest and fast growing digital marketplace for physical commodities. We a B2B company source commodities and products from our local supplier base and sell them to customers in Pan-Pakistan.
The Role:
As the CTO, you will be the driving force behind our technology strategy and execution. You’ll lead our technology department, overseeing the development and implementation of innovative tech solutions that align with our business goals. You will work closely with the executive team to set the strategic direction for our technology and ensure that our tech infrastructure supports our growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the technology strategy in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Lead and mentor the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of technology solutions, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and performance.
• Manage and optimize the company’s technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and cloud services.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance the company’s competitive edge.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and provide solutions that drive business success.
• Monitor industry trends and advancements to ensure the company remains at the forefront of technological innovation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices in technology management and data security.

Requirements:

• Software Engineer (BS.CS)
• Having 5 to 6 years’ experience in reputed software house.
• Experience in Word Press and other languages.
• Experience in Web and Mobile app development
• Applications, development and testing.
• Good communicator and should have negotiation skills
• Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar senior technology leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
• Strong experience in strategic planning and execution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a technology team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
