Dispatcher (Remote)

- Language Requirements: Fluent in English and Urdu. Fluency in Punjab is an asset.
- Gender: Females preferred
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the trucking industry and map knowledge of North America is an asset. But not required.
We are seeking a skilled and proactive remote truck dispatcher. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage situations effectively, possess strong organizational skills, be coachable, take initiative, and have a strong willingness to learn. With a strong preference for female candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch Management: Track and monitor truck locations to ensure timely deliveries and effective route management. Effectively manage situations and resolve issues related to dispatch and logistics calmly and efficiently. Schedule and assign loads to drivers while considering their availability and route preferences.
- Multi-Tasking & Coordination: Oversee and manage multiple dispatch projects concurrently, ensuring that all deadlines are met and operations run smoothly. Communicate load details, instructions, and routes to drivers in a clear, concise manner.
- Client & Driver Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing support, handling inquiries, and addressing any challenges. Keep clients informed of delivery statuses, potential delays, and any arising issues.
- Technology & Reporting: Use MS Office tools (Excel & Outlook) efficiently and demonstrate the ability to learn new dispatch software quickly. Generate and submit reports on daily operations, delivery schedules, and any logistical issues.
- Experience in the trucking industry and dispatch operations is a strong asset but not required.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
- Fluent in Urdu and Punjabi for effective communication with drivers and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel & Outlook) with the ability to learn new software quickly. Must have a work-from-home with a good mic and quiet space to work.
- Proven ability to manage situations calmly and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- A positive attitude and strong people skills to effectively engage with drivers and clients.
