Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing electrical systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of electrical operations within our campuses. This role is crucial to maintaining a secure and well-functioning environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in line with safety standards.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Assist in setting up electrical infrastructure for events, labs, and classrooms as required.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to address other technical issues and support general campus upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in an educational or institutional setting.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance procedures, and equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
