About Us:
Hamza Foundation Academy for the Deaf is committed to providing quality education and support to children with hearing impairments. We strive to create an inclusive and empowering environment that fosters growth, learning, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a curriculum that introduces students to computer basics, internet safety, and general software usage, adapted for the comprehension and skill level of hearing-impaired students.
- Deliver IT lessons using a blend of instructional strategies, including visual demonstrations, hands-on activities, and group projects.
- Use sign language and visual aids to ensure clear communication and comprehension among students.
- Continuously assess and adjust teaching methods to cater to individual learning needs and pace.
- Regularly assess student progress through practical assignments, projects, and evaluations tailored to track both knowledge retention and skills application.
* BS (16 years of education) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
* Fresh to 4 years of experience working in an educational setting, with experience in special education, preferably for children with hearing impairments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs.
