Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and result-oriented Laboratory Technician to support our construction projects by performing materials testing and quality control. This role involves testing construction materials, analysing data, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. If you’re passionate about quality and precision in construction, we’d love to have you on board.
Key Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare, and test samples of construction materials (e.g., soil, concrete, asphalt).
• Conduct laboratory and field tests, including soil compaction, concrete strength, and asphalt density.
• Record and document test results accurately and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot lab equipment.
• Ensure all materials meet project quality standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Materials Testing, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: 5-7 years experience in a construction laboratory or materials testing environment is mandatory.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, familiarity with lab testing procedures, and basic proficiency in MS Office.
