Salary Bracket: 135,000 PKR
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Manager GPON to oversee the O&M of GPON, metro access, and carrier networks in LTR-S. If you have a background in Electrical or Telecom engineering and thrive in managing critical network operations, this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee O&M of GPON, metro, and metro access networks, ensuring network efficiency.
Lead the rehabilitation and expansion of OFC networks for upgrades and future growth.
Develop contingency plans for network diversion during emergencies.
Ensure network resilience by minimizing outages and completing network rings.
Manage low-power issues and improve CHI for corporate, carrier, metro, and access networks.
Coordinate with government authorities to protect the network during planned/unplanned activities.
Prepare and submit p-deposit bills to civic agencies for route relocation post-development work.
Perform PMR activities, repair handholes, secure joint boxes, and replace underground joints for efficient network operations.
Conduct PAT of GPON, corporate, and transmission NEs before takeovers.
Keep GIS/KMZs updated with new cable routes for corporate, carrier, and metro networks.
Regularly arrange on-job training for staff to improve SOP implementation and service delivery.
Candidate Requirements:
Education: BS in Electrical or Telecom Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in network operations and management.
