Manager IT

Pakistan Machine Tool Factory (PMTF) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager IT to oversee all aspects of the IT department. The Manager IT will ensure that technology resources are aligned with the operational and strategic needs of the manufacturing environment. This role is critical in managing IT infrastructure, ensuring cybersecurity, supporting enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and providing technical support to the staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain hardware, software, networks, and servers to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Oversee ERP systems, ensuring seamless integration with manufacturing operations and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect company data and systems.
  • Lead and mentor the IT team, assigning tasks and ensuring project completion.
  • Manage relationships with external IT vendors and oversee procurement of IT services and equipment.
  • Develop and manage the IT department budget, optimizing resource use.
  • Provide technical support to staff and conduct training on new technologies.
  • Ensure IT operations meet industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree is preferred).
  • 08+ years of experience in IT management, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure, network management, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications:
  • ITIL, CISSP, or PMP certifications are a plus.
* Candidates living in the vicinity of Malir, Korangi and Landhi will be given preference.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 36 months
