Karachi with travelling to other districts of Sindh and Baluchistan
Education: A master's degree in a relevant field such as international development, social sciences, statistics, political science or a related discipline, accompanied by a minimum of 5-6 years of relevant monitoring and evaluation experience.
Good experience of developing data collection tools and generating analysis reports.
Good report writing skills, proven record of generating success stories and able to submit quality reports on time with means of verification.
Job Description:
The M&E officer will perform the following functions:
- Develop, strengthen, and ensure compliance with M&E procedures.
- Develop and update M&E plans and monitoring and evaluation reports.
- Monitor project activities and progress towards achieving the project output.
- Selecting indicators, setting targets, collecting/storing means of verifications, and reporting.
- Collecting, storing, and analysing data and reporting as per the M&E template.
- Supporting the preparation and review of program reports and documents.
- Assisting in the development of concept notes and proposals.
- Coordinating with CPDI/partner field staff to carry out monitoring visits.
- Propose strategies for greater efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks.
- Ensuring that outcomes and lessons learnt are communicated to the program teams and management for better implementation of the program.
- Provide training and mentoring to CPDI and partner staff on M&E systems, data collection, and reporting standards.
- Perform other duties as required.
