OT Nurse
Normeca International AS invites “OT Nurse” to work in connection with the launch of our project in Pakistan “Mobile Multi Diagnostic Clinic / Mini Hospital” under the management of the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) and in cooperation with the Government in Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The clinics will cover general diagnostic and minor surgical procedures, and they are all located in large mobile trailers. The clinics are fully equipped with modern medical equipment and ancillary units such as kitchen, laundry, dining room, conference rooms, etc. The Clinics are operating in KPK and Sindh Regions.

The successful candidate will assist in surgical procedures, monitor patient care, and ensure a safe and sterile environment.

The successful candidate will assist in surgical procedures, monitor patient care, and ensure a safe and sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize operating rooms and surgical instruments.
- Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning properly.
- Monitor and support patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Provide post-operative care, including wound care and vital sign assessment.
- Manage and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.
- Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety and infection control.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated with advancements in surgical techniques and best practices.
- Assist in setting up and dismantling mobile medical units at various locations.
- Degree or diploma in General Nursing with specialization in Operating Theatre (OT) nursing from an accredited program.
- Proven experience as an OT Nurse or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in non-standard conditions in rural areas.
