Position Overview
The Product Manager – Deposits and Payments is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of digital banking deposit & payments products and services. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the digital banking platforms meet customer needs and align with the bank’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Product Strategy & Program: Develop and execute strategies to enhance digital banking services focusing on Islamic banking principals, customer acquisition, engagement, and satisfaction.
- Product Development: Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to design, develop, and launch new digital banking features and products.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and customer analysis to identify opportunities for new products or enhancements.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to digital banking, such as customer engagement and revenue growth, to inform future strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure all digital banking products comply with regulatory requirements, including security, privacy, and data protection.
- Customer Feedback: Monitor and manage customer feedback, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Experience: 3+ years in product management, preferably in fintech or banking.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of product management with deposit and payment product experience, software development processes, APIs, and system architecture.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify customer needs and market trends.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in agile environments and using tools like JIRA or Confluence.
- Islamic Banking Knowledge: Familiarity with Islamic banking regulations and requirements.
- Marketing and Sales: Experience in marketing or sales to better understand customer needs and product value propositions.
- Technical Expertise: Skills in data analytics and UX/UI design can be beneficial.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Islamic Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
