The Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory to ensure the availability of materials and supplies needed for our operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of procurement strategies. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement and Sourcing:
• Source and procure materials, goods, and services required for production and operations.
• Evaluate supplier options based on price, quality, delivery speed, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Continuously monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Inventory Management:
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production and operational needs while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt and distribution of purchased materials.
• Implement inventory control measures and systems to track stock levels and usage patterns.
• Supplier Relationship Management:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Resolve any issues or disputes that arise with suppliers regarding quality, delivery, or pricing.
• Collaborate with suppliers to identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and strategic partnerships.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Prepare and maintain procurement records, reports, and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement activities.
• The has to visit the market physically for sourcing and purchase.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Purchaser, Procurement Officer, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and inventory management principles.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
