Position Overview:
As a Sales Engineer specializing in electric power generators, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and providing technical support to our clients. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, presenting our products, and delivering tailored solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with clients in various industries, including commercial, industrial, and municipal sectors.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our electric power generators.
Collaborate with the engineering team to provide customized solutions that meet specific customer requirements.
Prepare and present detailed proposals, including pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence through networking and outreach efforts.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to effectively position our offerings.
Provide technical support during the sales process and assist with post-sale follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales engineering, preferably in the electric power generation sector.
Strong technical knowledge of electric power generators and related systems.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
