Job Description:
We are thrilled to grow our team and are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Sales Engineer specializing in the Textile Industry. The ideal candidate must have prior on-site experience in selling equipment, and spare parts related to the textile sector. Moreover, the candidate should also possess diverse knowledge and workability of various equipment and machinery involved within the textile sector. This role provides a unique opportunity to join a diverse and inclusive team that is dedicated to upholding our company's values.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the sales and marketing efforts for our current and future products, specifically targeting potential customers in the textile industry.
2. Conduct comprehensive market research to ensure product-market fit.
3. Respond to and manage customer inquiries about our product offerings.
4. Analyze the current product lineup and understand market dynamics.
5. Oversee and lead site visits to understand customer requirements.
6. Assist in creating and delivering marketing presentations for our product range.
7. Perform detailed studies, analyses, and compile technical reports.
8. Interpret and understand mechanical drawings of machinery and related products.
9. Actively participate in ongoing training sessions and professional development courses.
10. Maintain effective communication with customers and team members through email and other communication tools.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree (BEng Hons) in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering Preferred).
2. Experience of having a Sales Engineer role within the textile industry or an industry related to the textile sector is a must.
3. A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in conducting sales of equipment and spare parts.
Required Skills:
1. Profound knowledge of equipment related to the textile sector.
2. Strong and effective communication.
3. Excellent teamwork capabilities.
4. Hands-on approach to tasks and projects.
5. Proficiency in basic IT skills, including the MS Office Suite.
6. Creative thinking and innovative problem-solving skills.
