We're Hiring: Senior Accountant
JOB OVERVIEW: As a Senior Accountant at Avotax, you will play an essential role in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting for our clients. This position requires an ACCA-qualified individual with expertise in accounting, tax filings, and financial statement preparation. You’ll work closely with our team to maintain compliance, manage client accounts, and provide strategic financial insights.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee bookkeeping and financial record management for clients.
• Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Compile and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures.
• Communicate with clients to address inquiries and provide necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and support business growth.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• ACCA-qualified with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting, tax preparation, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books, Case Ware).
• Strong command of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
