Key Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research & Strategy:
- Conduct in-depth keyword research focused on healthcare topics to identify high-value keywords, long-tail search terms, and trending topics.
- Develop and implement targeted keyword strategies to improve search visibility and align with patient-focused content needs.
- On-Page SEO Optimization:
- Optimize healthcare website pages for SEO, including titles, meta descriptions, headers, alt text, and content structure.
- Ensure all on-page elements adhere to SEO best practices, patient-friendly language, and healthcare compliance standards.
- Technical SEO:
- Monitor and optimize website speed, mobile responsiveness, crawl errors, and other technical factors affecting SEO performance.
- Work with web development teams to ensure the technical health of the website, focusing on accessibility and usability in line with healthcare standards.
- Content & Link Optimization:
- Collaborate with the content team to incorporate SEO insights and ensure optimized content creation, from internal linking to keyword-rich, patient-centric content.
- Build and maintain a link-building strategy focused on acquiring quality backlinks from reputable healthcare and industry websites.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Track SEO performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs.
- Provide regular reports with actionable insights, identifying opportunities to improve organic traffic and search rankings.
- Stay Current with SEO Trends:
- Keep up with the latest SEO and healthcare industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Implement new strategies as necessary to stay ahead in healthcare SEO and maintain competitive advantage.
- Experience: 1+ year of experience in SEO, ideally within healthcare or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Health, or a related field preferred.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to turn insights into actionable SEO strategies.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous with keyword implementation, on-page optimization, and technical SEO elements.
