Introduction
The Aga Khan University Hospital in addition to its five Hospitals creates access through its Outreach Services which include Clinical Laboratories, Outpatient Medical Centres, Pharmacy services, Home Health and other services. Outreach Services are designed to provide primary to secondary healthcare services to patients near their homes and are present in several cities across Pakistan. Outpatient Medical Centres offer a range of specialty clinics including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Cardiopulmonary, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Physiotherapy, and cater to children, adults, and elderly patients for general health checks or specific disease consultations.
The Division of Pharmacy is a large multisite integrated service with a state of the art medication management system and strong emphasis on pharmaceutical care & clinical pharmacy practices. The services are centred at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Stadium Road Campus, Joint Commission International Accredited (JCIA) facility offering; Inpatient and Outpatient Satellites Pharmacies Distribution, Point of Care Pharmacotherapy Rounds, Drug and Poison Information Centre (DPIC), Pharmacokinetics Consults and one year duration post Pharm .D academic program to train hospital pharmacists.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the following tasks under the supervision of a pharmacist, which includes:
- manual and technical labeling, delivery, distribution and storage of drugs
- maintenance of drug expiry records of all the available drugs in Pharmacy
- assisting the storekeeper in the store inventory management as and when required
- replenishment and charging of stat drug slips, I/V drips and floor stock drugs
- regular picking of credit drugs and empty bags/container/bottles from nursing units
- performing sterile and non-sterile compounding as per applicable standards
- stores inventory management, GRIN (Goods Receiving Indent Note) processing, SPR (Stock Purchase Requisition) and replenishment request to vendors, expiry & lot control, indent and transfer note.
Requirements
You shoud have:
- Intermediate (preferably Pre-Medical); Graduate will be preferred
- 1 – 2 years’ experience of Hospital Pharmacy or Medical Store
- Must possess manual dexterity to handle heavy items
- Ability to read English
- Knowledge of drugs dosage forms.
