Job Description
This is a contract role based on site working 5 days a week from our Lahore office.
Testing Strategy and Execution:

Write test automation scripts using Java and Selenium
-
Independent preparation and execution of test cases and test plans
-
Take ownership of application quality
-
Analyse test results including troubleshooting and problem determination
-
Log issues and confirm resolution
-
Critically review business requirements and functional specifications
-
Provide estimates for test planning and execution
-
Assist in determining whether release criteria have been met
-
Keep up to date with test methodologies and utilities
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
-
Proven experience (5 years) as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
-
Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java
-
Automation using Postman or equivalent
-
Experience with performance testing
-
You are proficient in using Jira and Confluence
-
You have a basic understanding of SQL databases
-
Experience working on Web Application and API testing
-
Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
-
You are proactive and take ownership for the quality of the product
-
You are analytical with problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
