Utilities Manager (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineer)

Job Description include managing the operation, maintenance, and optimization of utility systems such as power generation (CHP, solar, etc.), water supply, HVAC, compressors, and waste management. The role demands a solid background in commercial shipping to drive energy and resource efficiency with limited resources. A strong focus on environmental sustainability, reliability, cost control, and regulatory compliance is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prior experience in power generation (various sources), water, chiller systems etc as a Utility Manager is required.
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of all utility systems within the manufacturing facility.
- Ensure uninterrupted utility supply to production lines, swiftly addressing issues to prevent downtime.
- Lead a team of technicians and engineers in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of systems.
- Formulate strategies to reduce operational costs, enhance energy efficiency, and improve utility performance.
- Energy efficiency and Optimization
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on utility performance, costs, and maintenance to senior management.
- Qualified Chief Engineer or Second Engineer (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or industrial engineering (mandatory)
- Proven experience and certifications in energy management and sustainability initiatives is highly desirable
- 8-10 years of experience in shipping and utility management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including power generation, HVAC, and water treatment systems.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and maintain utility systems for continuous production.
Location: Nooriabad, Pakistan
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs400,000.00 - Rs500,000.00 per month
