Job Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled UX/UI Designer/Front-end Developer to join our healthcare application development team. This role combines aesthetic design expertise with technical front-end development abilities to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for healthcare technology and a deep understanding of user experience principles.
Key Responsibilities:

• User Research: Conduct user research and gather insights to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Use this data to inform design decisions and create user personas, journey maps, and scenarios.
• Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that illustrate design concepts and user flows. Use tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or In Vision to develop high-fidelity designs.
• Visual Design: Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and enhance the overall user experience. Focus on creating aesthetically pleasing and accessible designs that meet usability standards.
• Front-end Development: Implement responsive and interactive UI components using HTML, CSS, Java Script, and front-end frameworks such as React or Angular. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with back-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of UI components with back-end systems. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing to validate design choices and gather feedback from users. Analyze test results and iterate on designs to improve usability and user satisfaction.
• Aesthetic Features: Ensure the application's aesthetic features enhance user engagement and align with the overall brand identity. Focus on creating a cohesive and visually appealing design language.
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices. Continuously seek opportunities to improve design processes and enhance the user experience.

Technical Skills:

• Design Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, In Vision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Front-end Development: Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java Script, and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Responsive Design: Experience with responsive design principles and techniques. Ability to create designs that adapt seamlessly to different screen sizes and devices.
• Accessibility: Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and ability to design inclusive and accessible interfaces.
• Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field. A portfolio demonstrating relevant experience is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer and Front-end Developer. Experience in designing healthcare applications is a plus.
• Skills: Strong visual design skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
