Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and other medical imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques and medical protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and assist in diagnosis.
• Ensure compliance with ARRT certification standards and maintain accurate patient records.
• Provide education to patients regarding procedures and post-scan care.
• Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of one year of CT experience preferred (no acute care experience required).
• Certification: ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Education: Graduate of a Vocational School program.
• Licensing: Must be a State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Basic Life Support: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor certification is required within 30 days of employment start date.
