Director of Med-Surg

We are searching for a motivated Director of Med-Surg at an acute care facility in sunny Panama City, Florida!

Panama City, Florida, has a rich history that dates back to the early 19th century, originally serving as a bustling port and a hub for shipping and trade. Today, it's renowned for its beautiful white-sand beaches along the Gulf of Mexico, making it a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts and beachgoers. Visitors can explore the nearby St. Andrews State Park, enjoy the vibrant waterfront, and experience local attractions like the Panama City Marina, Gulf Coast State College, and a thriving seafood scene

The role of Director of Med-Surg will provide leadership for planning, management, implementation, integration and coordination of the unit in support of facility goals dedicated to excellence, effective leadership, and financial stability. Support the delivery of the high-quality, cost-effective patient care through activities based on facility strategic goals and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2-3 years of recent acute care Supervisor/Manager level experience Open to any adult inpatient experience from an acute hospital setting
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse, or Advance Nurse Practitioner

Salary Base: $105K- $125K- Eligible for Directors Bonus
