Complete Automation, a global industry leader in fluid delivery systems, is looking for a full time Field Supervisor to join our team. This position requires travel to our customer sites, managing the crews (welders, pipefitters, general laborers) that install our equipment. We provide our customers with complete turn-key solutions employing our expert services in design, engineering, fabrication, installation, start-up and training.
Must be willing to be on the road for long periods - approximately 97% of total time requirement.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Coordination:

• Develop project plans and schedules for industrial projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate project execution.

2. Supervision and Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of skilled pipe fitters and welders.
• Ensure team members adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Provide training and support to enhance the skills of the team.

3. Pipe Fitting and Welding Expertise:

• Demonstrate knowledge of pipefitting and welding techniques in an industrial context.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure installations and repairs meet industry standards.

4. Material Procurement and Inventory Management:

• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials.
• Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and minimize project delays.

5. Safety Compliance:

• Enforce and promote a strong safety culture within the team.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of projects, including timelines, expenditures, and resource allocations.
• Generate regular progress reports for management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in industrial pipe fitting and welding.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supervising crew members on construction sites or in an industrial / production environment.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Safety – OSHA 30 and knowledge of Quality ISO 9000 a plus.
• Must be willing to frequently travel for long periods (approximately 95% of total time requirement).
