General Description
This individual would be responsible for the complete installation of fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings. As a foreman, you would be expected to take a project from rough-in to final inspection.
Fire Sprinkler Fitter Responsibilities and Duties
Installation:
- Responsible for installing fire sprinkler systems according to the NFPA codes
- Experience with steel and CPVC
- Manage and mentor apprentices on a daily basis
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Communicate with local inspectors
- Coordinate with other trades and general contractors
Fire Sprinkler Fitter Qualifications
- Valid driver license with a safe driving record
- 7+ years of experience installing fire sprinkler systems.
- NICET licensing or other fire sprinkler certifications required
- Ability to work independently and in a professional manner
- Be self-motivated.
- Pay attention to detail
- Have good customer skills
-Willing to lift at least 50 pounds and work on a ladder.
-Lift training
-Basic communication skills.
- Pre-employment drug screen will be performed
- Pay dependent upon experience
