Description of the role:
The Front Desk Manager at Palmetto Inn & Suites in Panama City Beach, Florida is responsible for overseeing the operations of the front desk area. They will ensure that guests are provided with exceptional customer service and that all check-in and check-out procedures are carried out efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk operations and supervise the front desk staff
- Train new front desk employees on customer service procedures and the property management system
- Ensure that guests are greeted, checked-in, and check-out in a friendly and efficient manner
- Handle guest requests and complaints, resolving issues promptly and to the satisfaction of the guest
- Maintain and update guest records in the property management system
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Monitor and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Prior experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations effectively
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in using property management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high levels of stress
