Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Help with mobility assistance, transfers, and exercises
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities or seniors in their daily routines
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience in patient care and senior care settings
- Ability to provide compassionate care and emotional support to clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or completion of a state-approved training program
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans effectively
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in assisted living facilities or home healthcare settings
- Familiarity with meal preparation for special dietary needs
- Comfort working with individuals with developmental disabilities
