HVAC Superintendent (Student Housing Construction)

What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Superintendent with proven experience in managing HVAC projects in the student housing construction sector. The ideal candidate should have:

• 3-5+ years of experience as an HVAC supervisor or superintendent, with at least 1 year of experience in student housing projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems in large-scale residential or commercial settings
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience installing HVAC units in new construction
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain relationships with general contractors and internal teams
• Strong communication skills in English; Spanish fluency is a plus
• Familiarity with project management software such as Pro Core or e Sub
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• A valid driver’s license is required

Job Responsibilities:
As an HVAC Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and coordinating crews to complete tasks efficiently, while monitoring performance to ensure project success
• Serving as the key point of contact for communication with Project Managers, Area Managers, HR, Safety, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders
• Reading and comprehending construction blueprints to ensure proper execution of HVAC installations
• Demonstrating knowledge of HVAC duct configurations and understanding airflow impact on the system
• Managing submittal data and related construction documents
• Ensuring proper installation and operation of equipment according to specifications
• Working with sheet metal, duct board, and flexible duct systems
• Knowledge and experience with HVAC startup procedures and troubleshooting

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
