Lead Teacher/ Assistant Teacher
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Provide behavioral and emotional support to children
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all children and co workers
- Utilize classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment and follow schedules and routines
- Monitor student progress and provide ongoing feedback to parents and caregivers
-Support the lead teacher during classroom activities and creating age appropriate lesson plans according to the curriculum
-Complete state mandated DCF Training classes.
Experience:
- Experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting or children of your own is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively collaborate with a team of educators and professionals

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
