Honest and dependable MA or LPN needed for long term employment in a great, fast paced work enviroment. Very busy practice with 1 Physician and 2 Nurse Practitioners. Will work along side 2-3 other nurses. Paid holidays, vacation and 401k available.
Duties include but not limited to:
Triaging patients, venipuncture, injections, EKG's, giving lab/radiology results via phone, taking nursing calls and various duties as directed by Physician.
PAY DOE
Measures and records vital signs
ƒ Records patient interview, history, and chief complaint
ƒ Provides patient education with regards to medications, management of diseased, home treatments and special diets
ƒ Prepares patients for examinations and performs routine screening tests
ƒ Assists physician with exams
ƒ Phlebotomy and collection of other lab specimens
ƒ Performs basic lab tests
ƒ Performs EKGs
ƒ Prepares and administers medications with physician authorization
