About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Audio Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and upgrading mobile audio and entertainment systems in vehicles to include motorcycles. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audio System Installation: Install and configure high-quality audio systems in various types of vehicles, including speakers, amplifiers, subwoofers, and head units.
• Wiring and Integration: Run and manage wiring for audio systems, ensuring proper connections and functionality. Integrate aftermarket audio systems with existing vehicle electronics.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair issues with audio equipment, wiring, and vehicle electrical systems. Address customer concerns and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
• System Calibration & Tuning: Ensure proper tuning and calibration of audio systems for optimal sound quality, including adjusting sound levels, EQ settings, and acoustics based on customer preferences.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, offering expert recommendations, and ensuring their satisfaction with the completed installation.
• Maintenance of Tools & Equipment: Maintain all tools and equipment used during installations, ensuring everything is in good working condition.
• Vehicle Compatibility: Understand the make and model specifications of various vehicles and ensure compatibility of audio components with different car systems.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and customer interactions. Report any issues or required follow-up actions to the supervisor or manager.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and industry regulations during installations. Ensure that all work is performed with proper safety precautions in mind.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in mobile audio installation or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mobile audio components, including speakers, amplifiers, wiring, and head units.
• Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems and the ability to work with complex wiring diagrams.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
• Basic understanding of car stereo tuning and sound optimization.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification from a recognized industry body (e.g., MECP - Mobile Electronics Certification Program) is a plus.
• Experience with other vehicle upgrades such as remote starters, backup cameras, and GPS/navigation systems.
• A passion for car audio and automotive technology.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces, such as under dashboards or in vehicle trunks.
• Occasional travel to customer locations for mobile installations.
