We are seeking an experienced Office Manager/Bookkeeper to oversee the daily operations of our office. We are a small electronics manufacturing company of about 20 employees, we've been in business for more than 25 years. We offer a full 40hr work week. Hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. We offer 2 15-minute paid breaks a day and a full hour un-paid lunch break. Paid time off and Benefits are available after 90 days.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, managing bookkeeping tasks, ensuring office efficiency, and supporting staff members. Accounting experience is preferred, we will train on all our systems.
Responsibilities
· Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, and credit using Sage100
· Prepare payroll and maintain employee time records
· Handle all incoming phone calls with courtesy and efficiency. Greet visitors and assist them as needed
· Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
· Process incoming and Outgoing Postal mail
· Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and vendors
· Assist sales team as able, taking, entering, checking orders
· Assist with production tasks during slow periods.
· Other tasks as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
· Proven experience in office management or a similar role
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
· Knowledge of administrative procedures and basic accounting principles
· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
· Must be physically able to sit for long periods of time and use office equipment.
· High school diploma (or equivalent) required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
