Job description
It is important that you are motivated by an all-round role, which connects all dots and makes sure that the office runs smoothly in all aspects. Your primary focus will be to ensure that the office looks its absolute best to the finest detail at any time, and you will be the first face and voice of our Panama office. Thus, your biggest responsibility is to ensure best-in-class service and make sure that all guests and customers get a professional and warm experience every time they visit Monjasa.
You will be part of a team of 9 members who thrive in a dynamic and multinational culture. We’re looking for someone who enjoys helping others, is a strong team player, and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- First point of contact at the reception including answering and forwarding phone calls
- Coordinating office interior decor and maintenance
- Secretarial support and personal assistance for our Traders and other key personnel
- Coordination of internal meetings
- Daily bookkeeping tasks e.g., office accounts, travel expenses, reimbursement and keeping track of office expenses in general
- Coordinating events
- Procurement of office stationery and refreshments
- Administration and coordination of daily catering and cleaning services
- Setup a supplier network
- Ad hoc tasks
- At least 2-3 years of experience within the field of administration
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office
- Bookkeeping knowledge preferred
- Fluent in written and verbal English and Spanish
- Service-oriented with a passion for problem-solving.
- Curious about our business and proactive with a can-do attitude.
- Build strong internal and external relationships.
- Resilient, adaptable, and handles change well.
- Organized, structured, and focused on delivering value.
- Eager to grow in a dynamic, international environment.
