Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and dry vans. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. The Truck Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo throughout the journey.
Duties

• Operate heavy-duty trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and dry vans.
• Drive assigned routes to deliver freight to designated locations safely and on time.
• Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Familiarity with route driving techniques and navigation systems.
• Ability to load and unload freight safely using appropriate equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to truck operation.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address any issues that arise during transport.
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Qualifications
