Job Description:
Granny Nannies of Panama City is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide care for a single, assigned patient in Mexico Beach, FL. This is a permanent shift, requiring care 7 days a week, for a total of 35 hours per week.
Shift Details:
8:00 AM to 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
Morning Shift: You will start at 8:00 AM and work until 11:00 AM.
Evening Shift: You will resume care at 5:00 PM and work until 7:00 PM.
As the assigned caregiver, you are responsible for providing care during both the morning and evening shifts every day to ensure consistent care for the patient.
Responsibilities:
Provide personalized, one-on-one care for a single patient in Mexico Beach.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning the patient.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the patient.
Administer medication reminders and ensure patient safety at all times.
Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Job Requirements:
Ability to work the specified 7-day schedule with both morning and evening shifts.
MUST have a Florida state CNA license.
Experience: Minimum of two years in long-term care or home health.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds, transfer patients, and provide bed baths and care for bed-bound patients.
Valid CPR Certification.
Current Level 2 AHCA background clearance.
Health Statement within the last 6 months.
Good communication skills.
Reliable transportation.
