We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage the financial records and ensure accuracy and compliance of our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of transactions
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulation.
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time.
- Calculate wages, deductions, and withholdings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant / Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, ADP) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
