This role sits within our insights and reporting team. This role supports our revenue generating reporting suite - Karbon Practice Intelligence (KPI). The successful candidate will be capable of building data pipelines inside snowflake using DBT, and build accurate reports in power BI.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:

• Create and manage data pipelines - that enable the ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) of data from various sources into our data lake/data warehouse.
• Build Power BI Reports - Build complex customer facing Power BI reports and iterate reporting requirements and business story with product manager and the UX designer.
• Data management - Be able to build quality checks and tests for all newly developed code and data assets, checking for completeness and integrity against established processes.
• Collaboration - You can work in a cross-functional team with AI engineers, analysts and full stack developers.

About you

If you're the right person for this role, you have:

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in data analytics/engineering
• Proficiency in advanced SQL
• Experience with data warehouse/data lake technologies (Big Query, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.)
• Proficiency in a relevant programming language (Python, Scala, Java, Javascript, R, etc.)
• Experience implementing ETL/ELT processes, data migration patterns, and dimensional modeling concepts (DBT, Five Tran, Stitch, Talend, etc)
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI preferred)

It would be advantageous if you have:

• Previous experience with Azure cloud (Highly desirable)
• Experience with Docker and K8s
• Experience with CI/CD such as Github Actions
• Experience with Ia C such as Terraform and Open Tofu
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Dataflow, AWS Glue, etc.)
