JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertake a range of general assembler duties within the manufacturing plant, including manual assembly of seat parts, stores duties, leather work, machine operations and preparing and painting of finished parts.
- Assembles and/or installs various electrical and/or mechanical components where operation and sequence are specified by blueprints, wire lists, diagrams or previously established shop practices.
- Follow production build plan and team lead instructions.
- Perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly, and has multiple skill level for assembly activities
- Handle more complex equipment and machinery
- Ability to perform quick failure analysis and propose actions to the team lead/supervisor
- Give suggestions to supervisor/team lead on how to maximize production operation with focus on safety, quality and productivity.
- Utilizes small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers.
- Work with Manufacturing Support Team to achieve product on time delivery by ensuring attainment of daily and monthly production target.
- Work with Quality Team to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with company systems and procedures to meet customer / international standards
- Adheres to and participates in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.
- Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Generally has 2-4 years’ related experience in assembly / production / manufacturing gained in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- At least 2 years technical or vocational course Graduate
- Preferably with experience in manufacturing tools techniques (CI, Kaizen, 5S, etc.).
- A good communicator both verbal and written English language
- Has the initiative in work and a good team player
- Be flexible with regards to working hours, environment, and overtime
- Have the ability to meet targets and deadlines
- Willing to be on shifting schedule
