Role Description
The Audit Assistant at Pacific Concord Container Lines, Inc. supports the internal audit function by conducting pre and post audits, field audit, preparing reports, and utilizing analytical skills to ensure the integrity and efficiency of the organization's financial operations.
1. Demonstrate an understanding of Internal Audit methodologies, tools and techniques to produce completed process review documentation (e.g. flowchats; written control assessment; and narratives descriptions).
2. Perform fact- gathering and analysis, in a thorough, accurate and organized manner.
3. Identify process and control performance issues and develop recommendations to address those issues.
4. Demonstrate an understanding of the interrelationships of audit areas within the engagement (e.g. assesses the impact of inventory control weaknesses on other supply chain functions).
5. Prepare technical documents and reports that demonstrate an understanding of assigned areas.
6. Suggest process improvements that reflect best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Candidate should have at least 1 year related experience (Early-career candidates). Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge
• Experience in financial and inventory audit processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Google Sheets is a plus.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
