Currently, we are seeking a versatile Business Analyst to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely for our esteemed client in the banking industry.
Our clients are major banks in the Philippines, and big financial companies and international banks located in Singapore, Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand, USA, and UK.
Initially with a focus to be an industry leader in providing our clients quality technology resource solutions in the:

• Cards/Payments
• Core banking and
• Risk management system domains

Whilst these domains remain our strength, we have continued to grow our service offerings in recent years to align with industry advances and to meet our client needs in the ongoing evolvement of :

• Digital, Micro Services and cloud technologies
• Development and agile methodologies
• Information management and
• An increased focus on customer experience

Role Overview:

• Interns are OK
• 1-2 years experience is also good.

Bioinformatics (i.e., combination of genetics and other bio-sciences + informatics)
Genomics Nextflow, Snakemake, Cromwell (apps to write analysis pipelines on) Genetics (and with it Epigenetics, genetic sampl Research “-omics” (a generic term for many of the bio + computers sciences)
Types of projects:
Most will be using Azure cloud resources to run research analyses at scale, like genome alignment and variant calling. Our customers vary, so the tools and technologies they use vary, and the best approach is to be curious and flexible so that you can learn fast and find the best way to run their workloads on Azure.
It all starts with sessions where we ask the researchers to detail to us how they run their analyses (i.e., tools, steps, data in, data out, etc.), and then we look into a catalogue of resources on Azure that can helps us “translate” that to how to best run them on cloud
Then, we either run the analyses for them, or we set the platform(s) where they can run those (i.e., we provide tools to deploy the cloud resources on demand).
We also do a lot of 1:1 support of researchers, with getting started, or running their analyses, or when they have issues.
We do NOT need to be experts, or even know much about their areas of research (although it can help), but instead be ready to feel comfortable being a bit clueless while finding solutions that work for them.
