JOB SUMMARY:
The Bus Driver is responsible for transporting passengers from one place to another on regular routes along the city thus providing excellent customer service and a safe and comfortable journey.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs daily routine bus inspection using the operations pre-departure inspection checklist form (OPDI).
2. Ensure bus is kept in safe and clean before and after service.
3. Makes timely reports of accidents, incidents and unusual occurrences to immediate head as soon as possible. (examples: road closure, highway repairs etc.)
4. Strictly follow safety procedures.
a. Ensure that the high visibility is always worn in vehicle movement areas.
b. Ensure that speed limits are observe to/from bus terminals and stations.
c. Drive through traffic and obey traffic laws.
d. Ensure full understanding of emergency plans.
e. Loading and unloading at main terminals and movement in the terminals avoiding accidents.
5. Provides good customer service by giving right information and other general assistance to the passengers.
6. Give priority assistance to PWD and Senior Citizen passengers.
7. Issue, collect tickets and fare or cards for swiping.
8. Keep all receipts and documents safe.
9. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
