Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.

• Process credit and debit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Resolve customer issues or complaints with a positive attitude.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services to assist customers effectively.
• Ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Prepare and package merchandise for customers as needed.
• Follow all company policies and procedures for cash handling and security.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties in the checkout area.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience as a cashier or in a similar customer-facing role.
• Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
