Main Function:

• Responsible for prompt and proper adjudication of pre-booked and registered claims.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Attest to any cargo discrepancy reported by the Operations teams to check the veracity of the report and accuracy of documentations, and come up with initial findings and evaluation of action steps taken reflected in the discrepancy report prepared by the operations personnel/in-charge;
2. Responsible for all verified and validated filed claims received from Claims Registrar and immediate adjudication thereof within 15 days upon receipt of the documents by accomplishing a Denial Letter (DL), Interbranch Claim Liability Notice (IBCLN), Claims Allocation Report (CAR) for review of the Claims Supervisor and approval by the Claims Manager, Operations Manager and VP-Luzon Operations;
3. Settle claim in no longer than 30 days by denial, payment, offsetting or branch charges through issuance of Denial Letter (DL), Interbranch Claim Liability Notice (IBCLN) and endorsement of Claim Allocation Report (CAR) to Finance department for preparation of Journal Voucher (JV) and Cash/Cheque Voucher (CV) for payment;
4. Reversed an adjudicated claims that is charged to Claims Paid Pending (CPP) earlier through the preparation of Claim Adjudication Report (CAR) which is subsequently endorsed to Finance department for preparation of JV and CV payment;
5. Process and adjudicate pre-booked claims on time and according to set standards;
6. Process and adjudicate registered claims on time and according to set standards;
7. Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve systems and processes for claims and operations;
8. Maintain all adjudicated claims in an orderly filing system for future references; and
9. Perform other functions as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's / College Degree in any Accountancy, Industrial Engineering, or any 4 year course.
• Open for fresh graduates.
• Adequate knowledge in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Teachable, attentive to details, & with initiative
• Good attitude towards work and peers.
• Good in interpersonal relations
• Will be assigned in Virgo Drive Honorio Lopez Blvd. Navotas City
