Job Summary:
As a Messenger/Driver at Locavore, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of documents, packages, and other items. You will play a vital role in supporting our operations by ensuring that all deliveries are made efficiently and professionally while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery and Pickup: Safely transport items to and from specified locations, including documents, packages, and other materials as required.
• Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while considering traffic and weather conditions.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including timestamps and recipient signatures; ensure all paperwork is completed properly.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and recipients, addressing any questions or concerns during deliveries.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with safety regulations; report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving and handling deliveries.
• Assistance: Support other departments as needed, including helping with loading/unloading items or running errands.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a driving or messenger role preferred but not required.
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; additional certifications (e.g., DOT, chauffeur’s license) may be required based on the vehicle type.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to [insert weight] pounds; must be able to sit for extended periods while driving.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with clients and coworkers.

Working Conditions:
