Data Analyst/Operations Associate

Hive Health is looking for a curious, capable data team member looking to grow their data journey with us in the intersection of business intelligence, data science, and data engineering. As a Data Analyst/Operations Associate, you will help build the data and analytics backbone of Hive Health in order to provide an unparalleled healthcare experience for Filipinos. As one of the pioneering members of the team, you will work closely with other functions to deliver exceptional data and analytics solutions to drive decisions, improve processes, and deliver great user experiences.
Location
This is a hybrid role based in Metro Manila, Philippines, subject to change based on business needs. While most work may be accomplished remotely, you must be able to commute to our office in the Ortigas area at least once per week, as needed.
Responsibilities
In this role, youʼll be expected to:
- Develop high quality and accurate data insights, solutions, and strategies that address key business challenges and drive strategic decision-making for the organization, including adequate design, testing, and experimentation
- Efficiently collect, process, manage, and ensure the data quality of large datasets; build and monitor reliable data pipelines that adhere to data protection standards; and ensure work is fully traceable and replicable through written documentation, enabling the organization to handle increasing data volume and complexity
- Effectively communicate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand and prioritize solving high-impact data problems, and actively manage timelines to execute deliverables
- Youʼre a great programmer in your early career wanting to explore the breadth of the end-to-end data/analytics lifecycle. You might be a fresh grad whoʼs taken a specialization or with a few data projects under your belt, a data professional whoʼs only recently started out, or someone looking to make a career change after taking online certifications or fellowships
- You work and learn fast - you focus on solving problems with the team, even if it sometimes means going outside your paper responsibilities

- Youʼre looking for a role with very deep specialization
Must-have:
- Graduate of Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or engineering courses; or 12 years of experience in related work
- Solid programming fundamentals (Python) Proficiency in relational databases and SQL
- Familiarity with data visualization, preferably using business intelligence/dashboarding tools
- Creative, detail-oriented, proactive in problem solving and identifying opportunities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and proven ability to collaborate within a team
- Experience with cloud services like GCP Big Query
- Experience in Python for data science, strong math and statistics skills, experience with AI/ML
- Familiarity with ELT frameworks and data transformation, experience with non- relational databases, data cleaning, or working with API endpoints
